Message to Pharmacy Alumni
The Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni Association (PAA) exists to support the SWOSU College of Pharmacy students, alumni, faculty, and friends. Through annual and lifetime memberships, the PAA assists the College of Pharmacy in its efforts to educate pharmacy students, provides opportunities for interaction with Southwestern pharmacy alumni, and recognizes the contributions and achievements of our pharmacy alumni. Your participation in the Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni Association is vital to the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.

Alumni Association Awards 
Don Dowling of Frisco, Texas was named 2010 Outstanding Alumnus of the SWOSU College of Pharmacy. With Don is his wife, Barbara.
Jim Spoon of Sand Springs, Oklahoma was also named 2010 Outstanding Alumnus of the SWOSU College of Pharmacy. With Jim is his wife, Teresa.
The Pharmacy Alumni Association annually presents an award for Outstanding Alumnus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy. This award is presented to an individual demonstrating exceptional support of the College of Pharmacy and outstanding personal achievements in the profession. Don Dowling and Jim Spoon are this year's recipients. (More)

The Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni Association Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of financial need, academic scholarship, and professional attitude. 2010 recipients were Jessica R. Casselman of Okmulgee, OK, Shelley R. Engle, Sarcoxie, MO, and Brent L. Moore of Edmond, OK. (More)

Homecoming
Save the Date – October 15, 2011
Southwestern Oklahoma State University will celebrate homecoming activities on Saturday, October 15, 2011, in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
The College of Pharmacy will have an Open House on the 3rd Floor of the Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics building from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The Class of 1961 will be recognized at the 50-Year Pharmacy Graduate Recognition Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Additionally, plans will be made for other special groups. The Pharmacy Alumni Association will provide a complimentary lunch for all pharmacy alumni and guests who RSVP they are attending the COP Open House.
After a fun-filled Homecoming day, be sure to make plans to stay for the Continuing Pharmacy Education Seminar on Sunday, October 16, featuring award-winning speakers Dr. Tom Davis and Dr. Steve Pray. Two 4-hour programs will be presented: Diabetes Update with Dr. Davis and Nonprescription Products with Dr. Pray. (Brochure with Registration Information)
