Randy’s gift to the College of Pharmacy will benefit pharmacy students for years to come. The College of Pharmacy is focusing on areas of academic program enrichment, scholarships, and the Southwestern College of Pharmacy’s museum. There are several ways to make a gift. For additional information about the campaign, contact us (swpharmacy@swosu.edu or 580-774-3191).

  • Arthur Wayne Salisbury (‘58), retired pharmacist now residing in Tulsa, has donated $1,000 to the Southwestern Pharmacy Foundation as part of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s FOCUS Campaign. The money will benefit the newly created College of Pharmacy museum. “I was the first in my family to get a university degree. Without that education I could not have obtained my goals in life. SWOSU made it possible”, says Salisbury, former owner of Salisbury Drug in Clinton. Wayne and his wife, Joidy (retired principal), have two adult children: son Harold (lawyer) and daughter Kristin Arnold (principal). Wayne enjoys reading, writing, and painting.

“There is a continued need for highly trained pharmacists today and in the future. SWOSU School of Pharmacy is working toward filling that need”, adds Salisbury, past member of the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges (15 years). The College of Pharmacy campaign is focusing on scholarships, education and technology, pharmacy history, and endowed chairs/professorships/lectureships. For additional information, contact us (swpharmacy@swosu.edu or 580-774-3191).
