  • William H. Bernhardt (1948) received the 2004 Southwestern Pharmacy Outstanding Alumnus Award. The award was presented to Dr. Bernhardt by SW College of Pharmacy Dean, Dr. David Bergman, at the Bernhardt Academic Excellence Dinner in April. (More)

  • Ryan Skinner (2000) informs us he and his wife, Caroline (SWOSU graduate in Spring 2000 with B.S. degree in Health Sciences), now have two kids: Trenton Ryan (born 7-6-2001) and Sydnie Lauren (born 7-9-2003). When Ryan isn’t playing with the family, he’s at the OU Health Sciences Center, College of Medicine, where he is finishing his 3rd year. He will graduate in May 2005.

  • Aaron Wilbanks (1997) graduated on May 15, 2004, from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine with his degree as Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He will be starting his residency at Great Plains Family Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

  • Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy seniors were recently honored at a graduate recognition ceremony held May 7 on the Weatherford campus. All seniors were awarded their Doctor of Pharmacy hoods. Various senior awards were also presented to outstanding students. (More)

  • The Southwestern Pharmacy Association (SWPhA) traveled to Seattle, Washington for the American Pharmacists Association Annual Meeting on March 26-30. Twelve students and four faculty members attended the meeting. SWPhA received recognition for participation in the Operation Immunization program and the Chapter Achievement Program. Robert Taylor, a third-year pharmacy student, represented SWOSU in the national Patient Counseling Competition. Everyone had a great time at the meeting and even found time for some sightseeing at the Space Needle and the Public Market.
