  • If you arrive on Friday afternoon before 5PM, visit us on campus.  After that, be sure to drive around the SWOSU campus and the City of Weatherford to see the changes.   In addition to the College of Pharmacy events, there are a number of university-hosted homecoming activities scheduled throughout the day, most to be held on campus.    Traditionally, the university’s alumni reception is scheduled after the 3:00 PM parade (held downtown) and before the 6PM football game (Milam Stadium). Plan to attend the university’s afternoon alumni reception because it’s for all alumni (it’ll be held in the suite in the new Wellness Center).  And plan to stay and cheer for the Dawgs.  Now, please don’t dash out of town on Saturday.  Continue to enjoy your visit the rest of the weekend.  You can have an enjoyable time on Sunday, too…at the local museums, shops, and restaurants.   If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your College of Pharmacy Alumni & Development office.  We hope you and your family will make plans to return to the SWOSU campus, reconnect with friends and reminisce about years gone by.  See you at SWOSU Homecoming!

Kappa Epsilon has many events planned for this year.  During the month of October we are working to promote breast cancer awareness by selling t-shirts where the profits go to Susan G. Komen, organizing an awareness seminar, and also organizing a poker tournament where the proceeds go to breast cancer awareness.  Kappa Epsilon is also planning Apothescary, the annual Halloween dance for Pharmacy students, and our annual Chili Supper.  In the spring we will have many other activities including the Faculty - Kappa Epsilon basketball game, a pancake supper, raising money and participating in Relay for Life, as well as our Founder's Day Banquet celebrating the founding of Kappa Epsilon and it's importance to women in Pharmacy.

The Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at SWOSU was founded in 1960. KE's purposes and goals, both locally and nationally, are to unite women students in pharmacy, cooperate with faculty, stimulate in its members a desire for high scholarship, foster professional consciousness, and promote a bond of lasting interest, loyalty, and friendship.

The Alpha Beta Chapter initiates new members each semester. Several social events throughout Rush and Pledgeship build friendships between both new and old members and also enhance relationships between KE and other pharmacy fraternities at SWOSU. Professionally, KE responds both to pharmacy students and the community.

Phi Lambda Sigma is a Pharmacy leadership society.
