Alumni and Friends News - March 2010-December 2010

  • Message from the Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni & Development Director, Patti Harper:

As you may have noticed, it has been a loooooong time since the website alumni news has been updated (over a year). It’s not that we haven’t had news to share with you since 2010. There’s more news than ever. And 2011 already has a lot of news to share (I’m saving it for a month or two so you can catch up with the 2010 news.)

So why the delay in the website updates? We have a great excuse! YOU! You are emailing, calling, visiting, faxing, facebooking us more than you ever have. And we love it! We’re so busy communicating with you, re-connecting with you and working with you on projects for the COP alumni and students that we don’t have time to stop and update the website. So the website updates have been put on the ‘back burner’ because YOU have increased the activity in our office with more communication, alumni activities, important fundraising projects, continuing education programs and so much more. It’s all great!

    Stove

Fortunately, my office has a big stove. There are many pharmacy alumni items on the stove and even some that are completely off the burners and up on the shelf waiting for their time. Some days we’re not sure which pots need our immediate attention. And some days I just want to stick my head in the oven! LOL

With all of that said, I want YOU to know that each and every day, the needs and concerns of the SWOSU COP alumni are always on the front burners. YOU are ALWAYS on the front burner! If there is anything that we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your continued support of the SWOSU College of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Alumni Association and the Southwestern Pharmacy Alumni Foundation is greatly appreciated! And I’m grateful for your patience and understanding of the items on the back burner…the website updates.

    Patti Harper
